From source materials to finished drafts

CarbCut reads your existing materials, drafts four JCM documents, checks country rules and changes, and exports in Japanese and English.

Upload source materials

Upload up to 10 PDF, Word, PowerPoint, or Excel files at a time, with a limit of 20MB per file.

  • CarbCut extracts the project summary, location, participants, schedule, and estimated GHG reductions.
  • You can compare extracted information with the source and correct it.
  • Missing details are left visible instead of being filled in by guesswork.

Draft four documents

Extracted information is managed as shared project data and applied to each official form.

  • A project note covering the participants, location, technology, expected reductions, and financing.
  • A JCM methodology defining eligibility, emission sources, formulas, and monitoring parameters.
  • A design document covering the project, methodology, calculations, environmental impact, and local consultation.
  • A monitoring plan based on the methodology and PDD, exported to the official Excel sheet.

Check rules and changes

Rule sets based on official documents, including Rules of Implementation, are available for 28 countries.

  • CarbCut flags inputs that conflict with the selected country rules.
  • When the methodology changes, CarbCut flags the affected PDD sections.
  • A diff shows the changes in each revision.

Export in Japanese and English

CarbCut creates Japanese and English versions from the same data and keeps official terms consistent.

  • Export the PIN, methodology, and PDD as PDF or Word files, and the monitoring plan as an Excel file.
  • Emission-reduction formulas are formatted as readable equations.

Expert review is required

CarbCut produces first drafts, not submission-ready documents. A JCM specialist must review and revise them before submission.
